Fitting Room Fiasco
Well fancy that....I'm writing another blog...how strange! I suppose this is actually going to a regular thing now....haha.
I am really trying to make up my mind whether I should start creative writing again, but my only problem is I have no inspiration! I haven't written a story unless I have had to for school since 2006! It is embarrassing! So I was having a thought (OMG wow I know), that I might start posting some of my old fave stories of mine, get some feedback, and perhaps reading them will inspire me!
What do you all think?
In other news, I went shopping on Friday night/Saturday. I must say that these days shopping has become quite a painful operation. I have decided that fitting rooms were designed to make even that skinny chick Courtney off Survivor look obese. And don't get me started on sizes! How I can be a size 8 in one store and feel great, only to be a size 12 in another is beyond me. My self-esteem is still lying in ruins somewhere in the fitting rooms of Cotton On. We need standard sizing in Australia, so obese people don't get deluded into thinking they are still skinny in Target, and so anorexics think they are a healthy size 8, when in reality they are a size 4. This hypocrisy must stop!
Today Jarryd and I went for a lovely little drive up into the hills to admire the tree and the hillbillies. It was nice. But, I have to say, driving around the hills and seeing multiple trees with flowers stuck to them, as Jarryd remarks, "Hey I reckon I could drive a rally car around these streets" kind of freaks me out. Sorry Jarryd, but how about NO. :P
Anyway, ta-ta! I'm off to pick a story to post. Hopefully it will be recieved happily. I'm thinking a comedic piece?
